Role Description The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, hybrid role based in Franklin, TN, with some flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for daily accounting tasks, including recording transactions, processing invoices, posting receipts, and performing accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accounting Clerk will help maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and support the preparation of financial reports for management. Additional responsibilities include organizing documentation, assisting with month-end close activities, and communicating with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies. The role works closely with the Director of Accounting and other hospitality team members to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with accounting software and related systems, with the ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Strong bookkeeping and general accounting skills to accurately record and manage daily financial transactions.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and financial statements to support reporting and analysis.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and external partners.
• Ability to work both on-site in Franklin, TN and remotely, demonstrating reliability and time management.
• Prior experience in hospitality or service industries is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
