Business Development Manager (Hunter Role)

Salary: $80,000 – $135,000 + Uncapped Commission (DOE)

Location: Fully Remote

The Mission

You will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and accelerating revenue growth by targeting, winning, and expanding high-value clients. This is a pure hunting role for someone who knows how to open doors, create opportunities, and convert them into long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Aggressively prospect, qualify, and win new business across international freight markets
\n
• Take full ownership of the sales cycle—from lead generation to closing high-value deals
\n
• Turn leads into revenue through high-impact client meetings (virtual and face-to-face)
\n
• Identify and secure strategic, high-profit accounts that drive long-term growth
\n
• Build powerful relationships with decision-makers and position yourself as a trusted advisor
\n
• Consistently exceed sales targets and push beyond revenue expectations
\n
• Drive account growth by upselling and cross-selling freight and logistics solutions
\n
• Stay close to your pipeline—relentlessly follow up, negotiate, and close
\n
• Spot risks early, re-engage lost clients, and win them back
\n
• Leverage internal teams to deliver winning solutions and maximise client retention
\n

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of proven success in Freight Forwarding / Logistics sales
\n
• A true hunter mentality—you’re driven, competitive, and results-obsessed
\n
• Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
\n
• Deep understanding of international freight (import/export, consolidation, etc.)
\n
• Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
\n
• Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and stakeholders
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset—you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them
\n
• Willingness to travel and go the extra mile to win business
\n
