Coordinate travel for the CEO and Editor-in-Chief and other senior staff as needed, including flights, hotels and ground transportation. Help prepare meeting materials, agendas and background information for the CEO and other senior leaders as needed. Anticipate scheduling, travel, meeting and operational needs and resolve issues quickly as they arise. Help manage day-to-day operations of Ankler’s Los Angeles office, including mail, shipments, packages and deliveries. Prepare and circulate Zoom links, agendas and meeting materials. Support subscriber communications, including responding to inbound emails and helping resolve subscriber questions and requests. Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of administrative, editorial or related experience; strong internship or entry-level experience will be considered. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work quickly and calmly, think on your feet and exercise good judgment in a fast-moving environment. Proactive and highly anticipatory, with an instinct for spotting what needs to happen next. Comfort working across different departments, personalities and priorities, and an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at every level of the company. Resourceful and comfortable solving problems independently. Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines. Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets and Slides, and comfort using tools such as Slack and Zoom. Familiarity with WordPress, newsletter platforms or other publishing tools is a plus. Strong interest in media and entertainment; enthusiasm for journalism and live events is a plus.
